数年前に死んだ俺の爺さんは海兵出身の職業軍人だった。
明治生まれなのにパソコンは俺より早く使っていたし、死ぬ直前まで海外の友達と
メール交換するような頭の柔らかい人だった。
戦争の話は滅多にしなかったが、晩年は晴れた日に庭のテーブルでコーヒーを飲みながら
いつも言っていた。
